Most of the snow has melted except for the high piles yipee!! Of course now there is mud in the backyard. Oh well. Had lunch on the deck today!!

Millennium Trilogy

Just finished watching The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest, the last of Stieg Larsson's Millennium Trilogy. I do not understand why the American's are making their own version or how they could possibly think they could top the originals!! The Swedish cast were all wonderful! Michael Nyqvist as Mikael Blomkvist and Noomi Rapace as Lisbeth Salander will be hard to beat. What I didn't know was Larsson had witnessed the gang rape of a 15-yr old girl while he was young and disgusted w/himself for not having done anything to stop it. This incident inspired his writings.

Missed the 60 Minute episode on Sunday with the interview of Julian Assange. So watched it today on the computer. Not so many years ago you missed a show so be it. Won't comment here on my thoughts though. Not the purpose of my blog.
