Xmas Weather Coming?

It was 17 degrees out right now that's cold and I'm so glad not to have been walking to work in NY City this morning! Here's the house decorated for Xmas. We are supposed to get snow Saturday into Sunday unless it misses us but for the moment they are saying we'll get hit. Hope not!

Watchung Reservation

Went walking a couple of weeks ago with my friend. It was quite a cloudy day which didn't make for the best lighting to take photos. Having taken the photography class I tend to get a better look at the subject of my shots, for example previously I may have just taken a shot of the lake whereas that day I paid attention to the 'mirror' effect of the trees in the water. Had the light been better this would have been a better picture.

And On To The Next Holiday - Xmas!

Thanksgiving is all done and the masses of shoppers, at least here in the east, went to Black Friday sales. The husband of someone my daughter knows went to a major toy store along with throngs of others to wait for their midnight opening. However that was one of the few stores that didn't open until early morning, 5 or 6 AM, LOL. Personally I am an on-line shopper. A whole lot easier! Hard to believe Xmas is three weeks from this Friday!!
